Login

Log in using your ETH user name and the ETH password for email. You can only login to the machines of your research group.

Desktop and Profile

Your desktop and profile are on the personal data storage.

Backup

Your desktop and profile is backed up on the storage server directly.

There is no backup of local data as well as the overall systems state and software that is not centrally managed by isginf.

Printing

The printers near to you are already configured for direct printing as well as card-eth for pull printing.

Software

Software can be deployed centrally through isginf. Please contact your IT Coordinator or isginf if you need additional software. The licensing of software from the IT Shop id done automatically by isginf.

Updates

The operating systems and centrally managed software is updated automatically.
