Home and Project Directories

Every member of the department or guest or student of a research group gets a home directory that is accessible via NFS4 and Kerberos at:

Home and project directories of research groups of the usually are located on iiStore. See here for how to access your data there.

Disk Quota

Some groups choose to activate a disk quota for their data volume on iiStore to limit disk usage by individual users. See here for how to check your disk quota. Please contact your IT Coordinator (ITC) for more information.

Backup/Restore

Data on iiStore that was lost recenctly can be restored by its owner from the daily snapshots. Restore from tape backups can be performed by isginf for data not available in the snapshots anymore.
