Subversion

isginf offers version control via Subversion to research groups.

Lifespan

Repositories exist as long as its owning research group.

We suggest services like GitHub for data that is public.

The URL of a Subversion repository is

https://svn.inf.ethz.ch/svn/<group>/<repository>

Where <group> is the lower case OU name and <repository> is the name of the repository.

New repositories can be requested by ITCs using this online form. After a new repository has been created, the owner can configure access control and mail notification on commit for the repository.
