Subversion

New Subversion repositories can be requested by your ITCs and exist as long as your research group exists at the D-INFK.

Repository URL

The URL of a Subversion repository is

https://svn.inf.ethz.ch/svn/<group>/<repository>

Where <group> is the lower case OU name and <repository> is the name of the repository.

Managing Access

Repository owners and users who can write to directories in a repository can grant access to other users.

External Users

~~External users who need read or write access to a repository need an IAM guest account. The repository owner can contact our service desk to obtain a guest account.~~

For projects where collaboration with external people is relevant we strongly recommend to use (or migrate to) GitLab.
