Public Student Labs

Additionally there are login servers available for remote access that are running 24/7.
Allowed Users
The labs are reserved for D-INFK students and students of other departments attending D-INFK classes. D-INFK members and guests can also log in for teaching purposes.Opening Hours

The rooms can be reserved for courses and lectures using the booking system. The current booking status as well as the next booking of a room is displayed on the electronic door sign next to the door.Computers
The computers in the labs are all dual boot installations with Details on the computer hardware can be found here.Energy Saving
Unused computers in the public labs are automatically powered off after some time. This saves energy, lowers noise and keeps the rooms cool in summer.Software Updates
All operating systems and the installed software are updated over night.Room Reservation

The default printer for both labs is in CAB H 57. An alternative printer of the same type is in front of CAB G 52. Both printers are configured in all operating systems in the labs. To request additional software to be installed please contact isginf. Whether or not the software can be installed is decided upon on a case by case basis.
New software for classes or courses must be requested at least two week before its first usage.
